About Pikes Peak ADU

Pikes Peak ADU is an independent guide to accessory dwelling units in Colorado Springs. The city legalized ADUs citywide in 2025, the market is young, and most of what a homeowner finds online is either generic national content or sales copy. This site exists to fill that gap with local, sourced answers: what an ADU costs here, what the ordinance allows, and how permitting actually works.

We are a small independent publisher, not a construction company. We do not build ADUs, draw plans, or pull permits, and we are not affiliated with the City of Colorado Springs, the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department, or any government agency. Where the guides reference builders' published prices or official fee schedules, we cite the source, and we check facts against the primary documents rather than repeating what other websites say.
